I am fluent in English and Chinese

My professional background includes more than 20 years in real estate, part of which was in the practice of law relating to real estate and finance in California and Oregon.

As a Realtor, I specialize in assisting home buyers and sellers in all aspects of relocation. Whether your move is job-related or based on personal reasons, whether you are moving across cities or even countries, or just to the other side of town, you need a professional to be on your team to make the experience less daunting.

My personal experience has given me unique insights into the home-buying process associated with relocation. My family emigrated to the U.S. from Hong Kong when I was 18. (Talk about “down-sizing”! We could only take 22 kilos (44 lbs) each on the plane.) When my parents saved enough money to buy a home 5 years later, it was my first time working with a realtor (my parents spoke little English) and I recognized the importance of a competent, compassionate realtor.

When my husband took a job in eastern Oregon in 1992, I was the one who stayed behind to sell the house, pack up the kids and orchestrate the details of the move. I got the first taste of buying a house in a distant new city and negotiating contracts long distance. Again I learned the immense value of having the right real estate professional on my side. Two years later when we moved to Portland, we went through the same process again. Based on the advice of our agent, we put down roots in Lake Oswego and have been in the same house for 15 years. Recently we made extensive remodeling and up-dates to our home, and I learned a lot, first-hand, about home renovation, knowledge that is useful and practical in my profession.

My goal is to help make your move easier and less stressful. I do that by providing you with objective information about market trends and conditions, the neighborhoods, schools, available homes, and resources for other services. We’ll formulate a property-search plan together, I will preview homes for you to save you time, and we’ll negotiate the best deal we can get. I can help you sell your existing home by listing it for you or referring you to a competent broker in your city and co-ordinate the buy-sell process seamlessly.

Thank you for visiting my website - please consider it as your online source for local real estate information, and return often for the latest property listing updates. Give me a call or send an e-mail if you have any questions.

I love my work, but I balance it with play.
